Bloopers + Behind the Scenes

This is the first time I’ve ever posted something like this on my blog, and I actually can’t believe I’m finally brave enough to do it! Today I’m sharing some behind the scenes photos and bloopers from the past year. I take a few thousand photos on each wedding day, and it is inevitable that I end up in some of them! Here are a few that describe what I go through on a typical wedding day.

In this photo, my second shooter had me stand in the spot we had planned to use for bridal party shots. We wanted to see how many people we could fit in this small space in front of the trees. There was a parking lot to the right and a building to the left, so we needed to make sure we could fit fourteen people in this spot!

Blog-3Blog-4I love when my second shooter gets over-the shoulder shots of me taking photos of the bride or the couple!Blog-5Blog-7This is one of my closest friends at Lisa and Seth‘s wedding at Dara’s Garden in Knoxville. I was SO grateful for her help shooting their wedding, and she captured some of my favorite shots from that day!Blog-8Kandace and Alex got married at one of the most beautiful churches that I have ever seen, The Minor Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Chattanooga.Blog-9Jillian and Dylan gave me SO much creative freedom at both their engagement session and their wedding, and they were so amazing to work with! Blog-11Blog-12Sometimes I even end up with a cell phone in my hand to take a photo for a guest!
