One thing that I’ve always found so incredible about my photography business is how often I get to work with people I’ve known for a long time. Diana and Tyler both went to my high school, and while I didn’t know either of them very well, it was fun to work with some familiar faces, including some of the members of their wedding party! Diana and I talked throughout the week leading up to the wedding and made some backup plans in case it rained on their big day. Even though the ceremony had to be moved indoors due to rain and cold temperatures, we were so blessed to be able to do all of their portraits outdoors with the gorgeous lake in the background!
I started out the day by hanging out with Diana, her bridesmaids, and her mother as she was getting ready for her wedding. The girls had all stayed at The Shepard Inn in Dandridge, and it was the perfect location for Diana’s bridal portraits. After the ceremony, Diana and Tyler braved the mud and cold wind in order to have some romantic portraits taken outdoors while their guests were enjoying the cocktail hour. The whole day was full of so much love, and one of my favorite parts was when Diana’s younger brother read scripture that talked about true love during the wedding reception. Here are some of my favorite images from their day!
